Our Story
Xtend Capital began with the work of developing new treatments for cancer. Our first investment went straight back into the biotech company we founded. To us, a successful exit is not the end of the road. It is what lets us keep building.
Drug development taught us a lesson we now apply everywhere: lasting value comes from fixing the root cause, not treating the symptom. Find the real mechanism, then build the solution.
We think of ourselves as stewards, not owners. The capital, people, and time we work with are entrusted to us for a season. Our job is to hand them back in better shape than we found them.
What We Believe
Every person has a worth no market can give or take away. Markets, institutions, and technology exist to serve people, never the other way around. We favor work that gives people more say over their own health, information, and finances.
Trust should be earned in the open. When you can’t see how a system works, you pay for it in hidden risk. We value things that are transparent and can be checked.
Strong beats fast. We would rather back something that holds up in hard times than something that only works when everything goes right.
Some things only people can do. As more work is handed to machines, the value of human skill grows: in sport, on stage, and in craft. Supporting it isn’t nostalgia. It’s a way of honoring the gifts each person carries.
What We Do
Our core: life sciences. Most of our attention and capital goes to biotechnology: new therapies and platforms where we can bring hands-on experience from developing drugs ourselves.

우리의 시작
Xtend Capital은 항암 신약을 개발하는 일에서 시작했습니다. 우리의 첫 투자는 우리가 직접 세운 바이오텍 기업으로 다시 향했습니다. 우리에게 엑싯은 끝이 아니라, 계속 만들어 갈 수 있게 해주는 힘입니다.
신약 개발이 가르쳐 준 교훈은 지금 우리가 하는 모든 일의 기준이 되었습니다. 오래가는 가치는 증상이 아니라 근본 원인을 해결하는 데서 나온다는 것입니다. 진짜 원인을 찾고, 그다음에 해법을 만듭니다.
우리는 스스로를 소유주가 아닌 청지기로 여깁니다. 자본도, 사람도, 시간도 잠시 우리에게 맡겨진 것입니다. 받은 것보다 더 나은 모습으로 돌려주는 것이 우리의 몫입니다.
우리가 믿는 것
